Abelson Legal Search Affiliations
Abelson Legal Search, as a company, and its individual members are committed to the concept of service professionally and personally. Since the company’s founding, it has been known for its pro bono work and charitable contributions. We have provided free counseling to attorneys as an inducement for them to volunteer to the VIP project of the Philadelphia Bar Association. For almost two years we provided articles to The Legal Intelligencer featuring the charitable activities of Philadelphia area attorneys.
Since 1990 we have provided resume and career counseling information to hundreds of attorneys without charge, often working closely with bar association groups, outplacement companies and individual attorneys without other resources.
Our staff have been called upon and recognized as expert witnesses in cases concerning attorneys’ earning potential. We have been asked and have provided, at no charge, speakers to professional conferences on a variety of employment and firm staffing issues. We are quoted not only in many local publications, including The Legal Intelligencer, The Philadelphia Business Journal and The Philadelphia Inquirer, but also national publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The American Lawyer and national wire services.
Abelson Legal Search’s public service activities have brought us into contact with hundreds of some of the most dedicated attorneys and other legal professionals in the tri-state area. We have been reminded again and again of the very noblest motives of so many professionals in every sector of legal practice. It has been a privilege and an honor to get to know many of them well.
